We really wish there was something about the Obama Administration we could cheer.  So far, the only thing to celebrate is that we are one day closer to voting him out of office. 

Obama laid into the police officer who arrested an unruly Harvard professor with a huge reverse racist Haavard chip on his shoulder.  Clearly without knowing the facts, and knowing even less about police procedures for dealing with belligerent citizens, Obama sided with the Harvard dude.  We salute the police officer for standing his ground and telling Obama he was out of line. As for Obama - SHAME on you for behaving stupidly.

We don't recall Obama declaring that police in Maryland acted stupidly when they burst through Mayor Cheye Calvo's front door, and shot his dogs to death on sight in a botched and mistaken drug raid.  We guess it's because Mayor Calvo is white.  Can you imagine if the Mayor was black?  Holy crap what a firestorm that would have been!

While we are on the topic of acting stupidly....Vice President Biden was in the news recently being quoted with an incomprehensible crack that the Government must spend or go bankrupt.  HUH?  And Sarah Palin is supposedly the one who's a moron!

Hillary Clinton also got in on that acting stupidly bandwagon by warning Iran that the US would cast a nuclear umbrella over the middle east if they get their nukes.  So Iran got the message:  the US plans to do nothing to thwart them.  We also have this sobering news for Hillary (and Obama) - the proximity of Iran to Israel means that if Iran attacked with nukes, there would be no Israel left to defend by the time the US could react.  That must be very reassuring to the Israelis.  Very reassuring.  Hillary has since tried to backpedal, but the damage is done.  Hillary let slip the real US position on Iran, perhaps on purpose - A Secretary of State acting stupidly.

This is, after all, The Stupid Nation, so why shouldn't the highest officials in the land behave like idiots?

One day closer to the end of the Obama Administration.  It's gonna to be a long three and a half years folks.  Hopefully there will be a USA to salvage at the end of it.
